Tomatoes Yellow pearshaped is one of the smallest and very old tomato varieties available. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original varieties, perhaps because of this they are among other things more resistant to the dreaded potato disease.
An “oldie” from the 16th century (or even older) with still very healthy growth. Yellow, pear-shaped, aromatic and fresh sweet ripening.
Sowing: indoors March-May. Transplant into pots at a height of 5 cm. Place it very lightly and harden off outside in good weather from April. Do not plant outside before the end of May. Tomato plants use a lot of water. With this higher or (in the greenhouse) climbing type, the side shoots (thieves) must be regularly removed. Planting distance 60-80 cm.
